Truly, hell and heaven separated by centimeters. (Attack on prayer group outside St. John's Cathedral)

Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake:   Be glad and rejoice, for your reward is very great in heaven.

The Smoke of Satan Returns

The topic of my book, The Smoke of Satan in the Temple of God,  Paul VI's analysis of the post-Vatican II Church, has enjoyed a renaissance with the accession of Pope Francis. For a comprehensive look go here .

Liberal Catholic? Conservative Catholic? Or Catholic?

I hope to live to see the day when the terms "liberal" and conservative" are no longer used to refer to membership in the Body of Christ. For example, Father Z has recently penned an analysis of the heterodox position on recent happenings involving Pope Francis, which makes use of these terms.  The schema of “liberal” (progressive, left) vs. conservative (traditionalist, right) which followed upon the close of Vatican II is inadequate for understanding the present-day crisis of faith within the Church of Jesus Christ, though it is most unfortunate that usage of these terms persist among many Catholics and in the media today. Division within Christ’s Church is a clear attack by the evil one. Satan’s strategy here is the time-honored one of divide et impera - divide and conquer.  Remember, too, Jesus ’ words to the Pharisees: “Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand.” What is a more fruitful way of l

On Evangelii Gaudium

Archbishop Rino Fisichella presented the Holy Father's Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Gaudium document at a Vatican press conference as follows:... If we were to sum up Pope Francis’s  Evangelii Gaudium  in a few words, we could say that it is an Apostolic Exhortation written around the theme of Christian joy in order that the Church may rediscover the original source of evangelization in the contemporary world. Pope Francis offers this document to the Church as a map and guide to her pastoral mission in the near future. It is an invitation to recover a prophetic and positive vision of reality without ignoring the current challenges. Pope Francis instills courage and urges us to look ahead despite the present crisis, making the cross and the resurrection of Christ once again our “the victory banner” Holiness, to which Vatican II calls all of us, makes us love as the Father loves, and brings the fullness of life to the one who is loved, and so is meant to be communi

Libido Redux: Demonic choices...

Not had much time for blogging lately, but I did see a horiffic story of late which reveals those the Princee of this world owns as his own. It is about an elementary school "sex ed" curriculum which teaches: • make condoms fun and pleasurable, • use condoms as a method of foreplay, • act sexy/sensual when putting condoms on, • hide [a] condom on your body and ask your partner to find it, • tease each other sexually while putting on a condom, • have fun putting one on your partner, while pretending you are different people or in different situations, • feel more relaxed and really enjoy yourself, and • use condoms to make erections last longer!  Oremus!

Libido Redux

AS I have demonstrated many times on these pages, to quote Fr. Longenecker, " Satan lures many people to destruction through twisted sexuality...." Fr. Longenecker has penned a fine piece on Pope Francis, who, contrary to many Catholics these days believes in Hell. Speaking of twisted sexuality, Chuck Norris has a great article on porn and the sex traffic industry for World Net Daily. It is also worthwhile to check out a great organization, She's Somebody's Daughter, promoted in the video above. Finally. we now learn that porn is not just a male problem .

Montini and Bergoglio

In 1972 Pope Paul VI, reflecting on the crisis facing the Church when he realized the implementation of Vatican II was not forthcoming as the Council fathers intended , opined on the reality of Satan: “….So we know that this dark disturbing being exists and that he is still at work with his treacherous cunning; he is the hidden enemy who sows errors and misfortunes in human history. It is worth recalling the revealing Gospel parable of the good seed and the cockle, for it synthesizes and explains the lack of logic that seems to preside over our contradictory experiences: "An enemy has done this." He is "a murderer from the beginning . . . and the father of lies,"[Jn 8:44] as Christ defines him. He undermines man's moral equilibrium with his sophistry. He is the malign, clever seducer who knows how to make his way into us through the senses, the imagination and the libido, through utopian logic, or through disordered social contacts in the give and take of
