Moderate Muslims, Please Speak Out!

Whenever I hear fellow Catholics defend abortion or the death penalty, or same sex "marriage," for that matter, I always speak out to defend the faith charitably. Certainly if some Catholics were chanting “death to Muslims" and "nuke Islamic nations", all Catholics would be required to speak against this offense to our Catholic faith. Watch this video, (NOT LIKELY TO BE AIRED ON CNN) and then pray that moderate Muslims find it in their hearts to condemn this abomination. Here is an upddate....

You Cannot be Right or Left Wing on the Apostles' Creed!

MONDAY last I posted that Pope Francis might not be all that the secular media consider him to be, recommending a First Things piece on the matter. Today we read of Archbishop Chaput's interview with John Allen of the National Catholic (?) Reporter , in Rio for WYD. What caught my attention was the Archbishops's comment that alienated, non-serious Catholics perhaps interpret the Pope's openness as being less concerned than his predecessors with doctrine, and that it is already true that "the right wing of the Church" has not been happy with his election. As I argued in The Smoke of Satan , and as George Weigel has eloquently posited in Evangelical Catholicism , the political terms left and right are woefully inadequate as measurements of one's standing in the Body of Christ. There are only the orthodox, and the heterodox.

A former pro-transgender activist said she regretted her previous work in pro-transgender activism, adding she felt she was "indoctrinated" on gender ideology in an interview with Fox News Digital. "I started to realize that what I had been doing at my job at the LGBT Center, it was grooming," Kay Yang, a former employee of a location in New York, said. Grooming in this context means "to get into readiness for a specific objective." Kay works as a 'deprogrammer' to help parents and children who have been 'indoctrinated' by the 'cult-like' transgender agenda. The plot has Bergoglio considering retirement but instead is beckoned to see Pope Benedict in the Vatican.
